Corner Star RV Park

If you’re looking to visit the area and want to avoid tight, overcrowded RV parks, you’re in the right place!

It’s a charming place to stay if you want to be in the middle of everything that Canyon Lake, the Guadalupe River and the Texas Hill Country have to offer.

People stay with us because…

  • The park has a relaxing, low-stress vibe compared to the larger, overcrowded parks on River Road.
  • We are conveniently located within walking distance to groceries, food, laundromat, supplies, pharmacy, doctor’s office, & fuel.
  • Easy access to float the Guadalupe River, attend Whitewater Amphitheatre Concerts, and spend time on Canyon Lake. A couple tube rental places on the Horseshoe will pick you up from the RV park on their shuttle!
  • Central location to the Guadalupe River, Canyon Lake, Whitewater Amphitheatre, Gruene & New Braunfels.
  • Sites are spacious.
  • The property is kept clean and well maintained.
  • You can rent the log cabin onsite when traveling with others that don’t have an RV. (see the group stays section below)

There’s so much to do around here!  Check out our guidebook.

Happy Campers!

We stayed here for a friends birthday party. We rented one of the RV spots and our friends rented out the cabin. Everything was very nice and the owner was super helpful with all of our questions. We will definitely be keeping this place in mind the next time we visit!

My fiance and I have never ever taken a vacation just us. It has always been family vacations that were always so hectic with 10+ people. When we started planning this vacation, we looked at a lot of different options, called around, weren't having any luck. Then, Corner Star popped up. I contacted Christine and she was so informative and helpful. She gave us multiple recommendations for dining, bars, tubing, parks, and so much more. She was patient when I asked a bunch of questions and showed us the utmost kindness. The RV slot we got was shaded, which was awesome since we have a bulldog who gets super hot quickly. The whole park was clean, upkeep was great, and everything was in working order. The spot was easy to get into as well. Everything is close to this spot, the scenery is beautiful, and it was so peaceful our whole trip. It rained and never got muddy or gave us a hard time. Needless to say, we will definitely be staying here again and have recommended this place to any family who may want to take a trip to New Braunfels/Canyon Lake.

Christine, you are awesome! Thank you so much for having us. For whoever is reading this, definitely look to Corner Star Cabin and RV Park! I could not recommend this place more.

Such an awesome little rv park with easy access from every street. No issues with parking or moving 42 foot fifth wheel in. Park offers fun yard games outside as well as a nice little hang out area with a hammock in the shade. Next time I am going to have to rent the cabin to prevent dragging the trailer over there. But will definitely recommend this place to anyone because of cost, location and comfortability!!!

The property was very clean and well kept and my husband and I enjoyed the location and how private it felt due to it being a small RV park with a cabin. The owners were very kind and sweet. The location is walking distance to a coffee shop and a great local bakery and grill. We will definitely be back!!

Perfect camp site for our weekend lake trip! Our rv site was full hookup, very level and easy to get into. It was near everything we needed and a very nice site. As a bonus it had yard games, hammocks, and a grill for us to use. We will definitely be coming back!

We stayed at Corner Star Cabin for two night and definitely enjoyed our stay! With just five spots, it was incredibly private and yet the location had us near everything we wanted to do! There were restaurants and bars just a couple minutes away and a stoned throw from the Whitewater music venue. We’ll be back for sure!

What a great little get-away spot! Our RV site had enough room to not feel on top of our neighbors, but close enough to socialize when we wanted. The hosts were so welcoming, answering all of our questions and even providing us with local owned recommendations for meals, recreation and a great evening date night with my husband. We’re looking forward to making our next reservations! Thank you!

We spent my birthday weekend, which was also 4th of July weekend here. The site was very clean and area was well maintained. The cabana with the games was pretty cool. The owner even got one of the tubing outfitters to pick up and drop off me and my family up and take us to the horseshoe for tubing. There is a decent size grocery store right down the road as well if you forgot something. I highly recommend this place and plan on returning soon!!!

This place is one of the best RV parks that I have ever been. It may be small but don’t let that fool you. Plenty of shade and they even have a palm covered pavilion that is 20’ +. Checkers, bean bag toss, something like jinga supersized. Then the best of all you can be on the river or the lake in less than 5 minutes. What other RV site can say that. It is also close to whitewater amphitheater. Did I mention that it is very quite and secure. I was here for 4 months and had zero issues.

We stayed 3 nights in RV Site #5 in a 40' Class A and we fit fine with plenty of room. Christine is a great "Host". She does everything to make your stay comfortable and let you know where everything is around you. We will definitely stay there the next time we're thru this area if available. Thanks Christine ⚘

This was the perfect camp site for our weekend lake trip! Our rv site was full hookup, very level and easy to get into. We have a 29 ft camper with a slide out and it fit us well with enough room to park the truck next to us. It was near everything we needed and a very nice and peaceful site. As a bonus it had yard games, hammocks, and a grill for us to use. We will definitely be coming back!

LOVED THIS PLACE! Great location. Nice trees and shade. No problems getting in and out with RV. Christine was super helpful and full of great suggestions and recommendations. Couldn't have been a better more seamless experience. Shanty tubes picked us up and dropped us off in private bus for both the river floating and for the concert that evening. Would definitely stay again!

I travel a lot! I volunteer at state parks in two different states which means that I often have to find layover locations while on the road. This place is top notch! The new owners have invested a lot of time and energy making this one of the nicest RV parks I've been to.

I drag a 34' travel trailer. There were no issues backing in or finding the place. I DID NOT need to level my camper. If you're reading this then you know how important that is.

The property's proximity to necessary stores, restaurants, and outdoor activities is excellent. Within walking distance: RV repair, donuts, barbecue, groceries, hardware, bar, convenience store, etc. Hop in your vehicle and the Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake are just down the road.

My wife and I stayed at corner star for Memorial Day weekend, there are only 5 spots so it was kinda nice to be somewhat secluded from all of the madness that weekend. The grounds were very well kept and the owners were amazing. The 30 amp circuit was bad when I arrived to the camp site but I contacted Christine and her and her husband arrived quickly and had the electrician there within 15 minutes and they stayed and made sure everything was In working order. Very nice and personable people. I will definitely be returning.
